Intramuros (derived from the Spanish meaning `within the walls') was a walled city, practically a large fort, built in Manila by the Spaniards shortly after the Spanish conquest of the Philippines. The area was flattened in the second world war, and has since been completely rebuilt.

KALESA- is a horse driven carriage that was introduced in 18th century, and was used by Spanish officials and the nobles as a means of transportation. It was also used by businesses not only for travelling but also in transporting their goods.
