The aircraft in the Homebuilt section are types which are normally built privately by amateur constuctors. As with many of the other categories this is not entirely clear-cut. There are types (eg Pitts Special) which are most often homebuilt, but which can also be obtained as factory aircraft; these are included here. Other types (eg the Jodel range) which can be homebuilt, but which were mostly factory built. Anyway, here you will find some of the more quixotic designs of light aircraft whose sole purpose is fun.
