The Military Transports section covers aircraft which were designed primarily for military purposes. In some cases there is a grey area between these and airliners. For the most part, the original design intention is followed here. There is also some overlap between transports and trainers, and once again the primary role has been taken as the most important. Transports also include liaison and communication aircraft, except for special mission aircraft which are covered in the `miscellaneous' section.
