MY COMFORTERS, BEST MATES AND SECRET KEEPERS.

Irene is our eldest. She was born on 5 April 1970. She was educated at the Malabuyoc Central Elementary School. But because of our poverty she left home after her graduation (age 12) and went to Cagayan de Oro City. She worked for our Uncle (mother's youngest brother) in their printing press business. In return she was sent to an exclusive school for girls. She then went to Lourdes College and took Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Mid of 1992 she met her husband (Mr. Rey Basas) at Paradise Island, and they got married on 5 October 1996 at Redemptorist Church. They have two bundles of joy, Renz John Ford ("Ren-Ren") and Nino Renier. ( Note: Nino was name after infant Jesus and Ren-Ren's was a combination of my father's, Irene's father in-law and husband's name.)

Joanavi- youngest. Born on 30 November 1987. She first went to Malabuyoc Central Elementary School until she was 9 and transferred to Bangoy Elementary School, Davao City and for secondary education at Bangoy National High School. She is a nursing student at University of Immaculate Conception.
